Wanda Williams, 78, of McKenzie passed away at her home on Saturday, June 26.

A funeral service for Wanda will be held at Johnson Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 30 beginning at 11 a.m. with Bro. Randy Harvill officiating.

Burial will follow at South Butler Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-11a.m. at the funeral home.

Her daughter, Rhonda Williams Cooper (Robert); granddaughters Morgan Cooper and Taylor Cooper, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends survive her.

Wanda’s husband of 60 years, Carl Williams; parents Homer and Essie Williams; and sister Mary Wiggins preceded her in death.

Pallbearers will be Matt Coghlan, Doyle Wiggins, Jason Williams, Derrick Williams, Ricky Wiggins, and Rene Fischer.

Wanda worked as a teller at McKenzie Bank for many years. She helped her husband run his produce company, was active in the PTA and Girl Scouts and was a member of WMU and UMW.

Wanda enjoyed sewing, reading and gardening. Additionally, Wanda loved watching TV, especially the Hallmark channel and HGTV. She loved her dog, Bandit.

Wanda was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.
