Greenville 24 Hour Fitness, a family-oriented fitness center, is looking to open its doors later this month.

Greenville 24 Hour Fitness will offer customers multiple exercise classes and a large fitness area. They will also offer customers an opportunity to relax with their child care and sauna services.

The business will be located from across the Piggly Wiggly on Cedar Street.

Presiding over the business is Craig Waller of Greenville, Alabama.

According to Craig’s wife Amber Edson Waller, opening the business has been on his mind for quite some time.

“Our family has been in the fitness business before and opening this business has been something that Craig has really been interested in and finally has the chance to do,” Amber said.

Although the business wanted to open at the beginning of June, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic prevented them from getting what they needed in time.

“Our original opening had to be canceled due to COVID-19,” Amber said. “Unfortunately the pandemic has made it harder to get the necessary materials we need to be up and running.”

Despite the delay, Amber says she and Craig are very eager to get the business open to the public.

“We’re really excited to open a business in downtown Greenville and bring additional foot traffic to the area,” Amber said. “As we get closer to opening, we plan to post pictures and videos to our Facebook page to get people excited to come in and join us.”
