Robert Wayland Smith of Camden, AL suddenly died on Saturday, May 15 at the age of 59.

Graveside services occurred Tuesday, May 18 at Greenwood Cemetery.

Furthermore, sister Julia Ann Harris Handley officiated and Dunklin Funeral Home directed.

Smith’s parents, Wayland and Mary Nell Smith of Camden, AL; brother, James David Smith; sister in law Rita Lynn Smith; nieces and nephews, Candace Smith Caylor of Monroeville, AL, Ilona Marie Sanders of South Carolina, Travis Smith of Monroeville, AL; great niece, Matison Nell Murphy and special friend, Judy Kyvik survive him.

Robert graduated from Wilcox Academy and later attended Troy State University.

Apart from this, Robert was an avid Alabama football fan.
