Audrey Mae Peavy of McKenzie passed away Monday, May 10 in Georgiana at the age of 95.

A funeral service for Mrs. Peavy occured Wednesday May 12 at Johnson Funeral Home with Bro. Dene McCoy officiating.

A burial  followed the service at South Butler Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jason Peavy, Blair Peavy, Kevin Wingard, Tommy Wingard, Kenneth Peavy, and Jason Greene.

She is preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Curtis Peavy; children Frances Mozingo and Curtis Dewayne Peavy; sons-in-law Bill Mozingo and Tommy Wingard; and her five brothers.

Survivors include her children Judy Odom (Lester), Tony Peavy (Sue), and JoAnn Wingard; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Mrs. Peavy worked as a seamstress for most of her life. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and going to McKenzie Football games.

She was a longtime member of McKenzie Baptist Church.
