A Celebration of Life Service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020, at Johnson Funeral Home in Georgiana for Carrie Vee Stinson, 94, of Georgiana, who died on Tuesday, July 7. Burial followed in Providence Cemetery in Georgiana. The family received friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 10, at Johnson Funeral Home.

Her husband, Wilbert Stinson, preceded Mrs. Stinson in death.

Survivors include daughter, Judy Stokes of Georgiana; son, Hank Stinson of Georgiana; grandchildren, Gina Morgan of Andalusia, Cody Stinson of Thomasville and Kevin Stinson of Andalusia; great grandchildren, Brannon, Tamara, Tabatha, Emerson, Easton, Bradleigh and River, and great-great grandchildren, Kolin, Kenzie, Kaleb, Kobe, Christopher, Jasmine, Connor, Aliana.
