A Celebration of Life Service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13, 2020, from the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for James Floyd Cartwright, 67, of Mobile, who passed away on Thursday, Jan. 9, in Mobile. Burial followed in Morrow Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Bush officiated. A Gathering of Family and Friends was held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12.

His daughter, Amanda Cartwright; parents, Edward and Thera Cartwright, and grandson, Brandon Creal, preceded Floyd in death.

Survivors include, his wife, Jane Cartwright of Mobile; daughters, Michelle Creal of Mobile and Connie Reaves of Pace, Fla.; son, Chris Cartwright of Georgiana; stepsons, D.J. Cartwright and Ricky Terry, both of Andalusia, and Sam McNeil of Brewton; sisters, Helen Schofield and Rita Drew, both of Andalusia, and Glenda Fitzpatrick of Opp, and eight grandchildren.
