Garbage in Greenville and Butler County will be picked up on a slightly different schedule this week and next week due to the holidays.

In Greenville, garbage that is normally put out on Tuesday must be put out Monday night or no later than 7 a.m. Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday’s garbage will be picked up on Thursday, Dec. 26.

Likewise, during New Year’s week, the garbage will run on Tuesday and Thursday. All other routes will remain the same.

In Butler County, pickup will occur as normal on Monday and Tuesday of both Christmas and New Year’s weeks. Wednesday routes will be run on Thursday and Thursday’s routes will run on Friday. Crews will work Saturday if needed.
