William Lee (Billy) Higdon passed away at his home in Montgomery on Friday, Nov. 22, 2019. Billy was born in McKenzie in 1949 and graduated from McKenzie High School in 1967. He served in the Navy and attended Troy University where he played baseball and completed his master’s degree in mathematics.

Billy went on to a career as a computer programmer and systems analyst, eventually moving to Montgomery and starting his own computer support business.

Survivors include, his wife, Jean; children, Will, Lynn, Stephanie and Stephen; brothers, Richard, Ronnie and Malcom; sisters, Linda and Odessa and grandchildren, Bentley, Garrett, Bailey, Caroline, Evan, Grayson, Hudson and Holland.

The family wishes that donations in lieu of flowers be made to St. Jude or other cancer care and research charities.
