A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019, from the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Georgiana for Derrick Wilton Burgans, 41, of Georgiana, who passed away on Saturday, July 20. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. The Rev. Neil Kelley is officiating. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, July 26, at Johnson Funeral Chapel.

Survivors include his daughter, Riley Burgans of Prattville; father, Wilton Burgans of Georgiana; sister, Crystal Burgans of Montgomery, and a number of cousins.

Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana is directing arrangements.
