A Celebration of Life Service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Georgiana for Gail Delanie Smith, 74, of Georgiana, who passed away on Sunday, June 30. Burial followed in Milner Cemetery in Georgiana. The Rev. Randy Sexton officiated. A Gathering of Family and Friends was held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, at Johnson Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Virgil Smith of Georgiana; daughter, Sherry (Waren) Cobb of Georgiana; son, Tommy Smith of Georgiana, and grandsons, Justin Cobb and Thomas Cobb.
