Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on June 5, 2019, at the Chapel of Carter Rice & West Funeral Home in Greenville for Theadarius Burnett, 15, who died on Tuesday, May 21, at University of Florida Health Shands Cancer Hospital in Gainesville, Fla. Visitation was held from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. on June 4.

Theadarius was born June 24, 2002 to Reco Goldsmith and Shemeaka Burnett. He was a native of Chicago, Ill.

Survivors include his parents, Shemeaka Burnett of North Carolina and Reco Goldsmith of Fort Deposit; grandparents, Ricky Baety, Larry Burnett Sr, Patricia Burnett and Mary Goldsmith; great grandmother, Gladys Womack of Greenville; brothers, Devon Burnett and Reco Goldsmith Jr; sisters, LaDaizjhia Burnett, Denyvia Burnett, Quiniya Goldsmith and Jhameaya Johnson; uncles, Larry Burnet, Johnny Womack and Anthony Russell; aunts, Faneshia Burnett, Gladys Malano and Anita Russell, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to their brother in Christ, Rick Miller.
