Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2019, from Indian Hill AME Zion Church for Mrs. Ida Mae (Mama, Candy Gal) Payne, 104, of Greenville, who passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019, at her home. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery. The Rev. Gloria Warren will officiate.

Mrs. Payne was born July 19, 1914.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Charlie Roper; granddaughter, Charlenna; great grandchildren, Na’Kyie and Detric; sister-in-law, Ardellia Starks of Dayton, Ohio, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren and friends.

Hudson Funeral Service Staff of Greenville is directing.
