A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, from the Johnson Funeral Chapel in Georgiana for Kenneth C. Owens, 64, of Georgiana, who passed away on Friday, March 1. Burial will follow in East Chapman Cemetery. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1 p.m. until service time on Wednesday, March 6.

His wife, Deborah Owens; parents, Ralph and Annie Jean Owens, and brother, Wayne Owens, preceded Kenny in death.

Survivors include son, Jeremy Charles (Ashley) Owens of Georgiana; stepsons, Eddie Joe Walker and Joseph Oliver Walker, both of Georgiana, Michael Garrett Walker of Andalusia and Tommy Joe Walker of Red Level; stepdaughters, Nikki Walker of Georgiana and Amy Williams of Sylacauga; brother, Roy Owens of Greenville; four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
