Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home for Lamar “Cotton” Giddens, 85, of Greenville, who died Tuesday, Dec. 25 at Crowne Health Care. Bro. Andy McKeown officiated the funeral with Dunklin and Daniels directing. A burial followed at Giddens Chapel Cemetery.

His wife of 57 years, Peggy Flowers Giddens, preceded Mr. Giddens in death. He is survived by two sons, Andrew (Cindy) Giddens and Jeffrey (Katye) Giddens; four grandchildren, seven Great-grandchildren, a special extended family and many lifelong friends.
