Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. from Hopewell Church for Derrick Deon Loveless, who died on Thursday, Nov. 22. A burial followed in the Hopewell Church cemetery. Bishop Alvin Officiated, Rev. Christopher Gholsby, Pastor. Hudson Funeral Service Staff directed.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Peagler, stepfather, Julius Peagler both of Greenville, AL., father, Ronnie (Debra) Mitchell, Columbus, OH; three grandmothers, Earline Reddick, JoAnn Peagler both of Greenville, AL and Helen Mitchell of Columbus, OH; two sisters, Sziara (Javoris) Reed, Greenville, AL; Miranda Stacy, Valdosta, GA; one god sister, Zykera Crooks of Greenville, AL; four special cousins, Otis Shepherd, Greenville, AL; Tony Shepherd, John Shepherd both of Winter Haven FL; and Antonio Smith, Greenville, AL; three special aunts, Elizabeth (Rob) Morris, Earnestine (Johnny) Morris and Stella Owens all of Greenville, AL; special friend, Audrey (Patrick) Walton, Lakeland, FL; a host of other family and friends.
