Jason Reaves’ dream of owning and operating his own collision shop in Greenville has finally come true.

Reaves was born and raised in Greenville. Early in his life, he developed an interest in automobiles. He began working at and managing several collision centers around Alabama in 1998. In August, he opened his own collision center in Greenville on the Bypass.

Reaves and his wife, Janet, purchased a building a 519 Greenville Bypass, which is now the new home of Camellia Collision Center, LLC.

“It’s been a great start so far,” Reaves said as he discussed the new location. “We’ve been very busy getting this shop cleaned up and ready to work out of. It’s been a lot of hard work, but well worth it.”

Before opening Camellia Collision Center, Reaves had been working alongside Romeo Breau III at Romeo 3’s Collision in Greenville. Reaves began managing Romeo 3’s in November 2015. The Reaves’ purchased Romeo 3’s in August. Last Monday was the first official day Camellia Collision at the location on the Greenville Bypass, relocating from 3284 New Searcy Rd.

“We will have three technicians and a painter on staff,” he said. “We specialize in things like bumper repair, glass replacement and even deer damage. We’re not exactly who people want to see very often, but if you do have any kind of a wreck, we’ll fix you up.”

Reaves said Camellia Collision Center also specializes in custom paint jobs.

Business hours for Camellia Collision Center are 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Fridays. The center is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

“Janet and I are thrilled to be open and in our new location,” Reaves concluded. “It was our goal to move closer to town. I feel like we’ve found a great spot. We love this community and look forward to serving the people in Greenville and the surrounding areas.”
