A Celebration of Life Service was held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2018, from the Johnson Funeral Chapel for Allen Durwood Cross, 88, of Enterprise, who passed away on Wednesday, July 11. Burial followed in Vera Cruz Cemetery. The Rev. Mike Mann officiated. A gathering of family and friends was held from 2 p.m. until service time on Sunday, July 15.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Cook Cross of Enterprise; daughter, Debbie Doak of Enterprise; grandson, Brian Middleton of Huntsville, and a number of nieces and nephews.
