Funeral services for Katherine Savage-Wilson were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Friendship Apostolic Church of God in Hyattsville, Md. Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until time of services. Elder Samuel K. Scudder Jr., pastor, officiated.

Her children, Mary, Yvonne, Faye (Jackie), Betty, Margaret (Frazier), James, Ada (Rod) Christine and Sylvia (James), survive her. She is also survived by one sister, Pearl; two brothers, Jessie B. and Claude (Galena); one sister in-law, Lizzie; 16 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
