A celebration of life was held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from Johnson Funeral Home Chapel for I.V. Halford, 95, a resident of Brewton, who passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018. A gathering of family and friends was held from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial followed in Elizabeth Cemetery in McKenzie. The Rev. Lee Jernigan officiated.

Mr. Halford’s mother, Julia Halford Jones; brother, Claude Halford; son-in-law, Jerry Spann and grandson, Mark Spann, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughter, Patricia Spann of Brewton; granddaughter, Karen Phillips of Brewton; great granddaughter, Teresa (Austin Silcox) Phillips of Brewton and great-great grandson, Kyle Silcox of Brewton.
