Drama Queens capture victory

Paisly Hunnicutt had a two-hit performance and scored twice to lead the Drama Queens as they slipped past Adrenaline 8-7 Monday evening in Darlings action.

Sequoya Johnson, Joanique Crenshaw, and Blair Bozeman each added two hits and crossed the plate once in the victory. Brandy Thompson, Elly Daniel and Lauren Pierce chipped in with one hit apiece and each scored once.

Amelia Hall and Ella Ealum led Adrenaline with three hits apiece. Hall scored three times and Ealum crossed the plate twice.

Jayla Anderson finished the game with two hits, while Alice Wilson slapped one hit. Both scored once.

Drama Queens 10

Ponytail Express 6

Brandy Thompson’s three hits and two runs were enough to lead the Drama Queens to a four-run victory over the Ponytail Express Monday, 10-6.

Alie Mount, Blair Bozeman, Joanique Crenshaw, Paisly Hunnicutt and Elly Daniel each contributed with two hits and one run. Nariyah Johnson and Lauren Pierce finished the night with one hit and one run apiece.

For the Ponytail Express, Natalie Skipper and Alicianna McWilliams ripped two hits and scored two times each. Lindsay Mason and Raylee Stinson added each added a hit and scored once.

Crushers 4

Xtreme 2

Four Crushers finished the night with one hit apiece and each scored one of the team’s four runs to slip past the Xtreme 4-2 Monday evening in Ponytails action.

Ziggy Sellers, Bailey Lambert, Saniya Matthew and Jeymaya Grey led the Crushers, while Anna Thomas, Kaylee Frazier and Rachel Hooks led the Xtreme with two hits and one run each.

Hot Shots 11

Black Ice 2

The Hot Shots dominated Black Ice Monday night as the Angels group cruised to an 11-2 victory.

Ada Gates, Brinkley Long and Layla McCall combined for six hits – two apiece – and each scored twice to lead the Hot Shots.

Brielle Cook and Conley Stringer finished the game with one hit each to lead Black Ice.

Brinkley Long’s three-run homerun proved to be the difference for the Hot Shots on April 20 as the Angels squad doubled up Black Ice, 8-4.

Also leading the Hot Shots were Ajaida Hardaway and Sy’Nya Edwards with two hits and two runs apiece. Ada Gates and Layla McCall also finished with two hits each and both cross the plate once.

Brielle Cook, Conley Stringer, Lauren Houston and Cailyn Johnson all finished with two hits to lead Black Ice.

Hot Shots 9

Chaos 6

Sy’Nya Edwards finished a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the Hot Shots to a 9-6 victory over Chaos in Angels League action April 17.

Edwards finished the night with a home run, an RBI and scored three times. Ada Gates, Ajaida Hardaway and Brinkley Long each finished the game with three hits.

For the Chaos, MacKenzie Carter, Caroline Campbell and Ava Gafford led with three hits apiece. Campbell also scored two runs. Kayleigh Bolding added two hits.

Ponytail Express 6

Joanique Johnson smashed a homerun, while Alie Mount, Sequoya Johnson and Blair Bozeman reached base twice each to lead the Drama Queens to a 10-6 win over the Ponytail Express on April 16.

Mount, Johnson and Bozeman also scored two runs apiece.

Riley Burkett and Natalie Skipper led the Ponytail Express with two hits and two runs each. Aniyah Cobb and Taylor Hunnicutt finished the game with one hit apiece.

Ponytail Express 13

Adrenaline 1

Four players combined for 12 hits as the Ponytail Express rolled over Adrenaline 13-1 on April 16 in Darlings action.

Taylor Hunnicutt, Natalie Skipper, Riley Burkett and Lindsey Mason ripped three hits each to lead the Ponytail Express. Hunnicutt, Skipper and Burkett also scored three runs apiece.

Adrenaline was led by Amelia Hall and Ryleigh Hartley’s two-hit performances.

Intensity 3

Xtreme 2

In a low-scoring, intense contest, Intensity edged Xtreme 3-2 in Ponytails action on April 16.

Madison Freeman and Marley Milton of Intensity finished with two hits apiece to lead the way. Takyra Marsh, Freeman and Marsh scored each of the team’s three runs.

Abby Sexton and Presley Hamilton led Xtreme with one hit apiece.
