Fort Dale Academy’s tennis teams faced off against the Eastwood Warriors in Montgomery on Monday and came away winners, for the most part.

In singles matches, both boys and girls won all five of their individual matches.

Megan Wright was highest winner in girls division single play with a total of 8-0.

She was matched by John Millan Gaston, who also enjoyed 8-0 wins on the guys side.  Other winners included Jamie Pickens, Claire Hutson, Maire Scott, Hayden Fails, Nate Richardson, Andy Seo, Brody Stringer and Grant McGriff.

In doubles matches, the boys won two out of three matches; those wins went to the pairing of Brody Stringer and Grant McGriff as well as John Millan Gaston and Mac Williamson.

Megan Wright and Maire Scott and Hayden Fails and Claire Hutson were winners for the girls in doubles play.

The Eagles host Pike Liberal Arts at the YMCA courts on Thursday, March 8.
