J.B. Herbert Jr., 61, a resident of Greenville, AL passed away on Tuesday, Jan., 2, 2018.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the Chapel of Carter Rice & West Funeral Home, 10 Chalet Drive, Greenville, Ala. The funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2018 starting at 2:00 pm at College Street Church of Christ, 36 Aztec Road, Greenville, Ala. with Minister Bishnoo Rampersad officiating. J.B. was born on April 8, 1956 to the late Mary Herbert Moorer and J.B. Moorer, Sr. He became a member of College Street Church of Christ where he remained faithful unto death. He leaves to cherish his memory three brothers: Henry (Frances) Herbert, Joel Herbert, all of Greenville, Ala. and Curtis G. Moorer, Greenville, Sc.; three aunts: Annie Jean Thigpen, Lena Mae Crenshaw and Rosie Ann Womack all of Greenville, Ala., one special aunt: Annie Jean Hardin of Jamaica, Ny.; two uncles: Jesse Savage and Robert Hawkins of Greenville, Ala.; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
