Everyone ordered lunch from the menu and were served by the special requested waitress, Sherry Hudson.

A fresh red and white (Luverne’s school colors) bouquet was placed on the registry table by Mattie Pearl Sport in memory of her brother, Roy McVay, who was also a member of the 1947 class. As they adjourned, the classmates agreed to meet the same time and same place for the 2018 for the annual reunion, which is always held on the first Saturday in August. Since the reunion, the 1947 classmates were saddened by the death of classmate Wilson Rhodes.
