Voncile Black Leysath, 89, a resident Georgiana, Ala., passed at the residence of her great nephew, Ira B. Dean July 13, 2017. A celebration of life of will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Smith and Ira B. Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery, Greenville, Ala., and Johnson Funeral Home, Georgiana, Ala., directing arrangements. A gathering of family and friends will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2017 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Leysath; parents, Rufus and Alva Black; and sister, Mary Frances Black. Survivors include sister, Dorris Booker, Georgiana, Ala.; nieces, Janice Dean, Garland, Ala., and Diane Booker, Georgiana, Ala.; great nieces, Jan Dean Shirley, Garland, Ala., and Amy C. Dean, Garland, Ala.; great nephew, Ira B. Dean, Georgiana, Ala.; great-great-nephew, Joseph Johnson, Garland, Ala.; special friends, Barbara Faircloth, Daphne, Ala., and Cindy Donahue, Mobile, Ala.
