Mr. Charles Edward Olsson Sr., a resident of Greenville, Ala., died Sunday, July 16, 2017 at his residence.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Crownover officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in Sunrise Memorial Park, Greenville, Ala. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Mr. Olsson was preceded in death by his daughter, April Charlotte Hughes, in 2011; and a son, James Albert Olsson, in 2012.

He is survived by his wife, Dora Olsson of Greenville, Ala.; children, Patricia O. Stephans of Greenville, Ala., Deborah O. Conover (Jeff) of Columbia, Ill., Charles Olsson II (Debbie) of Greenville, Ala., Sonia O. Crownover (Terry) of Belleville, Ill., Francis Olsson (Natalie) of Oak Creek, Wis., Susan Westwood of Greenville, Ala., Leon Olsson of Greenville, Ala., Florence Olsson of Greenville, Ala., and Fritz Olsson (Jennifer) of Greenville, Ala.; 30 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Charles Edward WIlliamson of Daphne, Ala.; sister-in-law, Doris Leisman (Arnie) of Weldon Springs, Mo., and a number of nieces and nephews.

The family requests donations be made to the Greenville YMCA or Baptist Hospice.
