Mr. Rommy F. Vistart, 71, of McWilliams passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 at his residence. He was a youth and choir minister in the Methodist Association. Mr. Vistart was a talented singer and actor who served as resident director of the Mobile Theatre Guild and Melody Productions. He performed leading roles in numerous productions across Central and South Alabama, including Rogers and Hammerstein National Touring Company.

Mr. Vistart was preceded in death by his parents, Romuald Jon Vistart and Jean Spooner.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Winters Vistart of McWilliams, Ala.; two daughters, Melody Vistart (Jordan) Ryan of Jacksonville, Fla., and Ruth Vistart (Michael) Stokley of Mobile, Ala.; three sisters, Diana Dowdy of Colquitt, Ga., Victoria Alberson of Meridian, Miss., and Jeanie (Dean) Stockwell of Fullerton, Calif.; and three grandchildren, Clay Stokley, Olivia Stokley and Philip Stokley.
