Martha H. Thompson, 72, who was born in Greenville, Ala., passed away on April 19, 2017 with her family by her side.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Leak Memory Chapel in Montgomery, Ala. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.  A private family graveside service will take place on Sunday at Greenwood Cemetery.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lora Herring; husband, Carl F. Thompson; and brothers and sisters, Paul Herring, Vernon Herring, Joe Herring, Mabel Myrick and William Herring. Martha is survived by her daughter, Kim T. Hall (Walt); her son, Jimbo Thompson (Kellie); grandchildren, Maegan, Taylor and Khloe; and brothers and sisters, Marjorie Myrick, Bob Herring, Mildred Crews and Melba Parker.  Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Myrick, Carl Myrick, Chuck Crews, Hunter Kendrick, Jordan Kendrick and Mark Wilson.
