Mr. Ruel Lee Sexton Jr., 38, died Thursday, April 13, 2017 in Montgomery, Ala.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Crysell officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing.  Burial will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home.

Mr. Sexton is preceded in death by his father, Ruel Lee Sexton Sr; paternal grandparents, Opal and Zollie Sexton; and maternal grandparents, Hubert Ray and Ouida Carol Edwards.  Survivors include fiancé, Summer Star Blackmon; children, Anna Claire Sexton, Bailey Danielle Sexton, Timber Lee Sexton and Mattie-Katherine Norwood; mother, Carolyn Jeanette Sexton; siblings, Ruel Ray Paul (Brenda), Richard Ray Sexton, Billy Gerald Sexton (Carolyn) Bo Sampley, Charles Matthew Sexton (Christy), Wesley Todd Sexton (Kristi), Christopher David Sexton and Elizabeth Rachael Sexton; niece, Katlyn Brianne Sampley; his best buddies and nephews, Hunter Ethan Sexton and Dawson Elliot Sexton; devoted aunt, Dorothy Brown, and many other family and friends.
