Harold Hamilton Sirmon

Mr. Harold Hamilton Sirmon, 92, resident of Mobile, Ala., and native of Greenville, Ala., died Wednesday, March 22, 2017.  Mr. Sirmon is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane Sirmon; parents, Owen and Aure Mae Sirmon, brother, Glenn Sirmon; sisters, Louise Warren, Ruth Anderson, Sybil Sirmon and Edna Earl Kirkland.  He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca (Chuck) Kemp and Leesa (Royce) Bunch; and sons, Greg (Cony) Sirmon and Tim (Stephanie) Sirmon.  He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; Charles Kemp, Anna Lee (Zeb) Wilson, Nathan (Beth), Scott (Helena) and Levi (Angel) Sirmon, Beth (Tim) Goddard, Daniel (Kelly) and Brodie Bunch, Meghan (Dave) Connolly, Steven (Megan) Sirmon and Olivia (Caleb) Williams; 17 great-grandchildren, sister, Ethelyn Watson, nieces and nephews.  Mr. Sirmon worked for the Montgomery Police Department, was an Alabama State Trooper, managed A.A. Stabler Ranch and retired from the State of Alabama Agriculture Department.  For years he was a lay speaker for the Methodist Church and preached at Rhodes Chapel Methodist Church and Bolling Methodist Church. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Magnolia Cemetery, Greenville, AL with Tim Sirmon officiating.
