Grace Padgett, 88 a resident of Elmore, Ala., passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017. A celebration of life service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 from Sweet Home Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Joyner officiating. Burial followed in church cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Ala., directed arrangements. Grace was preceded in death by her sons, Harry James Howell and Carl Pease. Survivors include daughters, Regina Sigler, Elmore, Ala., and Teresa Howell of Andalusia, Ala.; sons, Don Howell of Mississippi, Randy Howell of Atlanta and Eric Howell of Montgomery, Ala.; and sister, Betty Gomillion, McKenzie, Ala..

Grace is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home and 30 minutes prior to service at the church.
