Ann O. Russ

Ann O. Russ, 65, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 15.  Funeral services for Mrs. Russ were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Brewer officiating.  Interment followed in Mills Chapel Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.  Mrs. Russ was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Rosie Lee Grayson Odom.  She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Archie L. Russ; three sons, John (Lynn) Russ, Jamie (Paula) Russ and Joey (Jennifer) Russ; nine grandchildren, Courtney Blackwell, Brittany Russ, John Michael Russ, Aaron Russ, Justin Russ, Kami Tyson, LillieAnna Russ, Zoë Russ and Trenton Russ; four great-grandchildren, Melodie Peters, Ian Peters, Aiden Tyson and Landon Whitman; brother, Ronald (Grace) Odom; four sisters, Peggy Campbell, Janice Kelley, Jenice (Mike) Stinson and Rita (Bill) Burgans; and several nieces and nephews.  Active pallbearers were Jeremy Harris, Chris Jordan, Scotty Nichols, Dillan Harris, BJ Burgans, Jason Mathews and Steve Odom.

Sandra Gilmore Milton

Sandra Gilmore Milton, 57, a resident of Honoraville, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 11.  Mrs. Milton was preceded in death by her father, Charles Leon Gilmore.  She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Mark Milton; three children, Lance (Melissa Boatwright) Milton, Melissa Wood and Marsha Milton; four grandchildren, Kayla Worthy, Brandon Motes, Peyton Motes and Eli Motes; two great-grandchildren, Aaron Jones and Sasha Rose Milton; mother, Maxine Till Gilmore; sister, Kim (Robert) McCarthy; and brother, Russell (Lee) Gilmore.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Steven C. Morgan

Steven C. Morgan, 58, a resident of Dozier, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 15.  Funeral services for Mr. Morgan will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Judd Flint officiating.  Interment will follow in Brantley Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing.  Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents, John Q. and Louise Catrett Morgan, and his sister, Martha Adams.  He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Denise Norris Morgan; two children, James Steven (Taryn) Morgan and Stephanie Morgan; six grandchildren, Jayden Morgan, Bailey Annabell Grayson, Jamie Rayne Morgan, Steven Blade Morgan, Saber Morgan and River Morgan; brother, Buddy (Sachiko) Morgan; brother-in-law, Connie Adams; niece, Michelle Jenkins; two nephews, Ricky and Nicky Morgan; great-niece, Summer Jenkins; and two great-nephews, Skylar and Chase Jenkins.  Active pallbearers will be Skyler Jenkins, Chase Jenkins, Kyle Richburg, Don Nichols, Trent Brown, Jimbo Campbell, Curt Senn and Timothy Senn.
