In 1972, she was joined in holy matrimony to Andrew “Mun” Davidson, who preceded her in death on Jan. 4, 2012.

She was  a mother extraordinaire. Her love for her children, their offspring, other family and friends was the lifeblood of her existence. She was the epitome of the virtuous woman and we realize her life was extraordinary. Because of her faith in God, her perseverance, and her love of mankind, she accomplished much with what she was given. Simply put, she was a serious-minded woman and was a role model for many. She enjoyed cooking and family gatherings, fishing, traveling, playing checkers and cards, coloring books, watching wrestling (“Smackdown” is what she would say) and she never met a stranger. She opened her doors to many and always had a kind word for those that would listen. She was an extraordinary lady that will truly be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Willie Lowery, Jr., and Daniel Lowery; two sisters, Eula Pearl Ball, and Clara Jean Lowery; and a special friend, Annie Lee Savage.

She leaves precious and loving memories with her 10 children, Juanita Moorer (Robert), Daryl (Kim) Poole, Vandora Jones (Alvin), David Lowery (Virginia), Andrew Lowery (Evon), Rodney (Nerida) Lowery, Janie (Dennis) Stewart, Kenneth Davidson, Anthony (Willie Neal) Davidson; and LaTonya Searight; 20 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; four great -great grandchildren; one brother, Fred Lowery; one sister, Annie (Bill) Howell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and

friends.
