Fort Dale Academy Varsity Girls Lady Eagles knocked off Sparta Academy Lady Warriors 62 to 51.

The Lady Eagles led the Lady Warriors by 14 points at the end of the first quarter and never looked back as Fort Dale’s Lucy Bates sunk 25 points from beneath the basket. This win put the Varsity 2 and 0 for the start of the season.

FDA boys varsity overpower Sparta

FDA Varsity Boys Basketball team over- powered Sparta Academy Warriors 67 to 49. The Eagles came on strong and powerful as they hit the hardwood Tuesday night in Evergreen. Eagles, coming off a loss at Escambia Academy Monday night, showed they had it together as a team, flying over the Warriors from tip off to the last basket, keeping a ten point lead through most of the game. FDA’s top shooter was Luke Taylor with 28 points.
