SPECIAL TO THE JOURNAL:

GREENVILLE, AL — Pioneer Electric Cooperative (PEC) will hold the 2016 Annual Member Meeting on October 15, 2016 at the Butler County Fairgrounds, located off Highway 10 West in Greenville, Alabama. Gates are scheduled to open at 8:30 a.m. and the official meeting will begin at 10:30 a.m. All PEC members are invited to attend and each member may bring up to five guests.

Every October, PEC holds the annual meeting to allow member-owners to participate directly in the cooperative’s Democratic process of electing members to the Pioneer Electric Board of Trustees. This year, Districts 2, 5 and 8 Trustees are up for election. The meeting also creates an opportunity for members to get to know more about PEC and to learn about new and existing programs available to members.
