Gloric C. Lymon

Graveside services for Mr. Gloric C. Lymon were held on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Old Texas cemetery in Old Texas, Ala. Rev. M. Stallworth officiated.  Hudson Funeral Services in Camden,

Ala., directed.

Gloric Clarence Lymon was born in Pineapple, Ala., on Nov. 17, 1940, from the union of John Hugh Lymon and Martha Rogers Lymon. He is survived by his loving wife, Alma Felton Lymon; and brothers, Narbie Lee (Shirley) Lymon and Calvin (Gail) Lymon.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Hugh Lymon and Martha Rogers Lymon; his first wife, Rosetta Black Lymon; stepdaughter, Belinda M. Black, and 14 sisters and brothers.

At the age of 17, Gloric moved to Pensacola, Fla., where he attended Pensacola Junior College and received his certification in mechanical welding. After working in Pensacola for a while, he then was transferred from Pensacola to Louisiana to pursue his career at Agrico Chemical Plant, where he served 35 years before retiring. Gloric was a hardworking man who provided for his family. He was always loving and kind to everyone.

On Friday, Aug. 26, 2016, Gloric took a walk with God and entered the heavenly gates. Gloric leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Alma Felton Lymon; three sons, Clarence (Terrie) Lymon, Michael Lymon and Cedric Lymon; one daughter, Cynthia Lymon Williams; 11 grandchildren, Komisha Lymon, Kaisha Lymon, Michael K. Lymon, Donshay McBride, Shatara Williams, Alexis Lymon, Corsica White, Kornisha Lyinon, Morgan Lymon, Terrence Lymon and Shakera Williams; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
