Nell Sontheimer, 101, of Oneonta, Ala., passed away on Sept. 1, 2016 at TLC Nursing Center.  Mrs. Sontheimer enjoyed going shopping and homemaking for her family.  She was born on Nov. 8, 1914 in Crenshaw County, Ala.  Preceding her in death were her parents, Don and Buna Mae Sikes Campbell; husband, Leonard Sontheimer; and brothers, Chalmus, Comer, Colbert and Ray Campbell.  Survivors include her daughters, Linda Nell Ramsey (Bud) of Indiana and Lucy Pigg (Troy) of Locust Fork; son, Harry H. Jones (Zenia) of Texas; eight grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  The family received friends at Lemley Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Funeral services were directed by Rees Funeral Home in Hobart, Ind.  Burial was held in the Calumett Cemetery.  Lemley Funeral and Crematory directed.
