Mary Alice Hagan, age 90, of Carrollton, Ala., died September 4, 2016, at Sansing Country Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016, at First United Methodist Church of Childersburg with Rev. Amy Parsons Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens in Childersburg, Ala. with Skelton Funeral Home of Reform directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert John Hagan, Jr.

Survivors include her daughters, Sandra Ann Hagan Letcher and husband, Keith, Linda Carol Hagan Evans and husband, Ralph and Carol Ann Hagan Allbritton and husband, Terry.; son, Robert John Hagan III; sister, Margaret Ann Reynolds Day and husband, Jim; nine grandchildren, Colonel Kenneth Wayne Letcher, Jennifer Lynn Schmitt, Mitchell Clayton Norred, Bryan Harley Evans, Angela Carol Jacob, Master Sgt. John Andrew Norred, Jeffery Allen Norred, David Craig Evans and Jonathan Kennard; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mary Alice Hagan was born September 25, 1925 in Greenville, Alabama to the late Julius Ware Reynolds and Alice Kathryn Stanfield Reynolds. A retired teacher with Talladega County Board of Education she taught 2nd grade at A.H. Watwood Elementary for 30 years. Alice was a member of the Book Club and the First United Methodist Church of Childersburg. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend she will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Schmitt, Mitchell Clayton Norred, Bryan Harley Evans, Master Sgt. John Andrew Norred, David Craig Evans, Tyler Allen Norred, Col. Kenneth Wayne Letcher and Jeffery Allen Norred.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Sansing Country Home.
