Evan Smith, 80, a resident of Greenville, Ala., died at his home Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016. The funeral service will be Friday, Aug. 19, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home. Rev. Don Yancey and Rev. Cary Brown will be officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home will be directing. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth E. Smith.  He is survived by his daughter, Diane Miller (James) of Mobile, Ala.; grandchildren, Jennifer Howard (Curtis) and James Miller Jr., both of Mobile, Ala.; great-grandchildren, Zachary McGaha, Isaac McGaha, Kaitlin Sue McGaha and Dylan Miller all of Mobile, Ala.
