Time is running out — for submission of your prized pet pics to the annual Butler County Humane Society’s Pet Calendar Photo Contest, that is.

Sunday, July 31, is the final day for digital submissions, with the deadline set at 10 p.m. All hard copy submissions should be postmarked no later than Saturday, July 30. Send your high-resolution digital images to angieklong60@gmail.com

Payments ($7 per photo entered) can be made online by going to the BCHS blog www.butlercoalhumanesociety.com and scrolling down to the “Donate” button on the right-hand side of page.

Checks and hard copy photos should be mailed to: BCHS Pet Photo Contest, PO Box 264, Greenville, AL 36037.

The top photos from 12 categories will be featured on the front cover of the 2017 calendar, an important fund-raising and awareness-raising tool for the all-volunteer organization. Runners-up will be the dominant photo in each month’s collage of pets.  Winners will be announced later in August.
