Ruby Lee Sanders, 78, a resident of Titus, Ala., and formerly of Georgiana, Ala., passed away Friday, July 15, 2016. A celebration of life service was held at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016 from the Brushey Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Harvill officiating. Burial followed in Brushey Creek Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Ala., directed arrangements. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Sanders. Survivors include daughters, Jackie Brown, Titus, Ala., Donna Gifford, Deatsville, Ala., and Debra Jay, Andalusia, Ala.; sons, Darrell Sanders and Anthony Sanders, both of Georgiana, Ala.; sister, Myrtle Gaston, Georgiana, Ala.; and brothers, Gaylous Hartin Jr., Jimmy Hartin and Jerry Hartin, all of Georgiana, Ala. Ruby is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends was held Sunday from 2 p.m. until service time.
