Alice Olene Reid, 79, a resident of Georgiana, Ala., passed away Friday, July 8, 2016. A celebration of life service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2016 from the Johnson Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Garland Cemetery. Mrs. Reid was preceded in death by her husband, Paul K. Reid.  Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Daryl Grant, Georgiana, Ala.; son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Cynthia Nichols, Georgiana, Ala., sisters, Evelyn Steele, McKenzie, Ala., and Glennis Jordan, Milton, Fla.; brother, Arnold Skipper, Milton, Fla.;  daughters, Julie Brown, Jacksonville, Fla., Kathy Barrera, St. Petersburg, Fla., and Karen Levine, Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Wesley Nichols, Josh Beverly, Wade Nichols, Wendy Jo Hilliker and Justin Brown; great-grandchildren, Skyler Nichols, Rylan Nichols, Anna Nichols, Piper Nichols, Jasper Nichols, Bryson Beverly, Bentley Beverly, Keith Hilliker and Joey Hilliker.
