Funeral services for Mr. Edward Pugh will be held on Saturday, July 9 at 11 a.m. from Mt. Ida Missionary Baptist Church. Rev. Michael Pouncey will serve as officiating minister. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services of Greenville, Ala., will be directing.

Mr. Edward Pugh was born Aug. 5, 1946 to the late Mrs. Elizabeth Pugh-Boyge and the late Mr. Lincoln Bedgood.

At an early age he gave his life to Christ and joined the Mt. Ida Missionary Baptist Church where he served as custodian and a faithful member until his health failed him. Edward attended school in the Butler County School system. He departed this life on Thursday, June 30 at Crowne Health Care in

Greenville, Ala.

He leaves to cherish his memories his caregivers, Willie H. Pugh and Patricia Brooks; brothers, Chester Boyge and Kenneth Boyge, both of Greenville, Ala.; sister, Edwina Jones, Atlanta, Ga.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
