Raif Carl Mitchell, 86, a resident of Georgiana, Ala., died on Saturday, June 25.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29 at Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Marc Gibbs officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.  Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Dorothy E. Mitchell; children, Ray Mitchell Jr. of Mobile, Ala., Ronnie Mitchell of Florida and Ricky Mitchell (Cynthia) of Mobile, Ala.; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Maybelle Hawkinson of Irmo, S.C., and Ruth Johnson (Rod) of Columbia, S.C.; and many nieces and nephews.
