Edwin Earl Cosby

 

Edwin Earl Cosby, 78, a resident of Rutledge died Monday, June 13. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 17 at the Chapel of Turners Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Zimmer officiating. Interment will follow in Rutledge Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Cosby is preceded in death by his son, Chris Anthony Cosby; his parents, Charlie D. and Maebelle Bradley Cosby; and his sister, Melba Jeffcoat. Survivors include his wife, Judith Ballard Cosby; one son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Emma Cosby; and five grandchildren, Christopher Cosby, Cadyn Cosby, Caylor Cosby, Hank Peeples and Justin Peeples. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Guy Ramon Frost

 

Guy Ramon Frost, 79, of  La Pine, died at home Sunday, June 12.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 14, in the chapel of Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home at 11 a.m.  Reverend Herbert Brown will be officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 13 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Frost is preceded in death by his parents; A. D. and Versie Mae Frost; wife and mother of children, Daphne Frost. He is survived by his wife, Alice Frost of La Pine; three sons, Larry Frost (Lynn T.) of Prattville, Travis Guy Frost of La Pine and Charles Allen Frost of La Pine; five grandchildren, Tyler Lee Frost, Tony Benjamin Frost, Travis Cole Frost, Austin Hebert and Rex Stewart; sister, Marie Edwards of Tampa, Fla.; nieces and nephews; step-children, Dianna Clark of Montgomery, Debra Crews (Garrett) of Montgomery, Denna Beeler (Mike) of Indianapolis, IN and David Garner, Jr. (Stephanie) of Wetumpka; and several step-grandchildren.
