Funeral services for the late Mrs. Eloise Betton Patterson will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11 a.m. from Harrison Street Baptist Church. Rev. Anthony Baxter, Pastor. Rev. Larry Grimsley, Officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Hudson Funeral Services, Greenville, Ala., directing.

Mrs. Eloise Betton Patterson, daughter of the late Lue Fenton and Frances

(Sole) Betton, was  born Aug. 10, 1930 in Butler County, Ala.

She joined the Harrison Street Baptist Church  under the leadership of the late Rev. E. Aveheart, where she remained a member until her death.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Desoto, Randolph and Wallace Betton; and three sisters, Fannie Mae Kerksey, Vesta Lue and Rosie Lee.

She departed this life May 26, 2016 at Signature Health Care of Savannah, Ga.

She leaves to cherish loving memories of her life son, Jack Earl Patterson, Birmingham, Ala.; three daughters, Lena Patterson (Larry) Grimsley, Jakin (Brenda) Wilkins, Savannah, Ga.; Teresa Betton (Bill) Lee, Savannah, Ga.; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and brother, Lue Fenton Betton Jr., Theodore, Ala. She also leaves to cherish her memories a host of nieces, nephews, other sorrowing relatives and devoted friends.
