Jacob A. Knight Jr., 86, a resident of McKenzie, Ala., passed away May 10. A celebration of life service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 13, from the Johnson Funeral Chapel. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Ala., directed arrangements.

Survivors include wife, Ruth Knight, McKenzie, Ala.; daughters, Shirley Diane Knight (Terry) Thomas, Greenville, Ala., and Darlene (DeWayne) Foshee, Andalusia, Ala.; sons, Clanton D. Knight and Shanton D. (Tammy) Knight, both of McKenzie, Ala.; sisters, Willie Jewell Lee and Marie Gorum, both of Mobile, Ala.;  brother, Floyd Delano Knight, McKenzie, Ala.; grandchildren, Nicholas Jacob Thomas, Jessica Thomas (Brandon) Boyett, Chase Grayson Foshee, Brooke Foshee (Mitch) Connor, Erica Susanne Knight, Hunter David Knight, Robert Andrew Connor, Joshua Ray (Valarie) Schofield and Christy Nicole Schofield; great-grandchildren, Taylor Nicole Thomas, Katelyn McKenzee Ranta, Kamdyn Isabella Boyett, Connor Ray Schofield, Brianna Schofield, Danielle Schofield, Clayton Schofield and Andrew Reaves.
