Farish P. Simmons, 75, a resident of Greenville, Ala., died on March 4.  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on May 7 from the chapel of Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Looney officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.

Mrs. Simmons was preceded in death by her parents, Stokes and Louise Pearson; son, Johnny Simmons; and sister, Barbara Foster.  She is survived by her husband, William Simmons; sons, Ricky Simmons of Rutledge, Ala., Randy Simmons of Birmingham, Ala.; grandchildren, Erin Simmons Beaty (Markiem) of Wareham, Mass.; Heath Simmons (Britaney) of Prattville, Ala.; Richard Simmons of Rutledge, Ala.; Shelby Simmons of Rutledge, Ala.; great-granddaughter, Rylie Beaty of Wareham, Mass.; sister, Marion Midgley (Maurice) of Flint, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews.
