Mr. George W. Moorer, 71, a resident of Greenville, Ala., died on April 22 at L.V. Stabler Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the chapel of Carter Rice and West Funeral Home at 10 Chalet Drive, Greenville, Ala. The funeral service will be held on Saturday April 30 starting at noon at Lomax Hannon, 725 S. Conecuh St, Greenville, Ala., with Rev Michael Pouncey officiating and Carter Rice and West Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

Mr. Moorer is survived by his wife Mary Nell Moorer; and three daughters, Veronica Anderson, Lecia Pollock and Regina Johnson. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Gwendolyn Ann McKinney.
