Debbie Diane Shipp, 53, a resident of McKenzie, Ala., passed away April 21. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 24 from Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Elder Alan Odom officiating. Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana, Ala., directed arrangements. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Myron Salter, and grandfather, Travis Lee. Survivors include husband, Danny Pugh, McKenzie, Ala.; daughters, Candi (Jamie) Wiggins and Hollie (Tommy Kelley) Shipp, both of McKenzie, Ala.; sons, Edgar Dwight (Fred) Shipp Jr. and Travis (Sarah Harper), both of Red Level, Ala., and Chandler Pugh, Georgiana, Ala.; mother, Floyce Salter, McKenzie, Ala.; sisters, Terrie (Earl) Shipp, McKenzie, Ala., and Rhonda Simmons, Louisiana; brother, Christopher (Hope) Shipp, Trussville, Ala.; grandmother, Annie Lou Lee, McKenzie, Ala.; uncles, Murry (Betty) Cross, N.C., and Albert (Shirley) Wiggins, Arab, Ala. Debbie also leaves behind 14 grandchildren.
