Patrick Gerald Walker Sr., 66, a resident of Greenville, Ala., died March 22.  A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. on March 24 at First Baptist Church in Greenville with Rev. Bob Garrard officiating and Dunklin and Daniels Funeral Home of Greenville, Ala., directing.

Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his son, Patrick Gerald Walker Jr. He is survived by his son, Jeffery Walker of Flat Rock, Mich.; daughter, Melissa Sadowski (Lukas) of Germany; grandchildren, Isabelle Walker, Patrick Gerald Walker III, John Walker Katherine Walker, Dylan Sadowski and Bina Sadowski; sisters, Bette Garrard (Rev. Bob Garrard) of Greenville, Ala., and Donna Walker of Greenville, Ala.; brothers, Ernest Norval Walker III of Lapeer, Mich., and Daniel Michael Walker (Kathleen) of North Branch, Mich.: daughter-in-law: Kimberly Lynn Walker of Berlin Heights, Ohio, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Mr. Walker served in the U.S. Army as a Green Beret Radio Operator during the Vietnam War.
